New Training Videos Now Available: Expanding Access to Music & Memory

March 31, 2025

Thanks to the generous support of Unlikely Collaborators, we’re thrilled to share a new series of six short training videos designed to help staff, volunteers, and caregivers strengthen their Music & Memory programs and bring the power of personalized music to more people.

These videos were developed in direct response to real questions from long-term care organizations across the country. Each one is concise, practical, and grounded in day-to-day care scenarios—offering guidance on everything from choosing the right equipment to navigating hospice and hearing loss with compassion and care.

The series includes:

  • Enhancing Care Through Music
  • Understanding the Types of Dementia When Offering Music
  • Selecting Equipment for Your MUSIC & MEMORY® Program
  • Music in Hospice Care
  • Becoming a Music Detective
  • Offering Music to Older Adults with Hearing Loss

We’re proud to have worked with two long-term care facilities to review and refine these materials, and with your help, we hope to see them used widely in care communities and homes alike.

Thank you for being part of this journey—and for helping us continue to bring joy, comfort, and connection through music.
