This Mother’s Day, we’re shining a light on The Frostys—a group of young volunteers in San Diego, CA, spreading joy to older adults through the simple power of song.

Wearing their signature red scarves, singing classics from the 1940s and ’50s, and always full of heart, The Frostys lead cheerful Sing-A-Longs at memory care communities all year round. With festive accessories and a songbook of nostalgic favorites, they help spark recognition, connection, and joy for seniors living with dementia.

As proud ambassadors of Music & Memory, The Frostys bring the power of music into every care home they visit. Thanks to their work, more families and care professionals are discovering the power of familiar songs to ease anxiety, lift spirits, and awaken memories.
