MUSIC & MEMORY® Partners with KJBM Radio to Expand Access to Music

September 9, 2025

We are excited to announce a new partnership between Music & Memory and KJBM Radio, which is owned and operated by Actor & Broadcast Media Executive Rodney Allen Rippy, former Clear Channel broadcast executive Dan Pettegrew, and veteran radio broadcaster James Simon. With thousands of old standards in its collection, KJBM offers the kind of music that truly resonates with older adults – the songs that shaped their lives, carried their stories, and continue to spark recognition and joy.

For individuals living with dementia, these familiar melodies are far more than entertainment. They can be a source of comfort, connection, and dignity, helping to unlock memories, lift spirits, and create moments of shared joy with family and caregivers.

Through this partnership, we look forward to creating new opportunities to support older adults with the gift of their favorite music. Together, Music & Memory and KJBM Radio will continue to harness the power of music to restore a sense of self, strengthen bonds, and make each day brighter.

Stay tuned for updates as this collaboration grows – and as we find more ways to bring beautiful, meaningful music to those who need it most.
