Brandon’s Story

October 19, 2026

Meet Brandon, a participant in the Music & Memory program at South Mountain Restoration Center in Pennsylvania.

Brandon has been involved with music his entire life as a pianist, vocalist, and composer. Music & Memory was an instant hit with him. He enjoys a wide range of musical styles, including Irish music, Broadway, and classical, and can customize his personalized playlist to suit his preferences and needs. He can change his selections as often as he likes, keeping his music experience as unique as he is.

For Brandon, music offers more than enjoyment. Listening helps him tune out distractions, focus on his composing, and immerse himself in the sounds he has cherished throughout his life.

Because of supporters like you, Music & Memory continues to provide:

  • Personalized music programs that bring comfort, joy, and connection
  • Practical tools and training for caregivers
  • Meaningful moments that help people reconnect with treasured memories and the people around them

Every personalized playlist has the power to brighten someone’s day, spark a memory, or simply provide a moment of peace. Your generosity helps make those moments possible for people like Brandon.
