Support for Certified Organizations
Welcome to our Support Hub – How can we help?
QUICKLINKS:
We’ve learned over the years that staff turnover is a reality, and the best way for an organization to stay connected with Music & Memory is to continually send new staff for training. For that reason, Music & Memory offers unlimited team training for all certified organizations. If your organization was certified in the past but is no longer active, we recommend you register your current team for Music & Memory certification. Don’t forget to choose ‘returning staff training’ in the registration form!
Keep in mind that your organization’s membership may have lapsed. The first year of Music & Memory unlimited training & support is included in the Music & Memory certification fee. After that, the organization needs to pay $200 annually to maintain access to these services, which include:
- Unlimited staff team training
- Program resources
- Free music & equipment discounts
- Monthly support webinar
- Phone/Zoom/email support from Music & Memory
All of the above resources help to sustain a program in the long run. Staff come and go, but a program can sustain for years by continually accessing additional training.
If you are unsure about your organization’s membership status, you can email us and we’ll let you know or you can book an appointment to discuss over Zoom.
Certified organizations in need of support are encouraged to contact Music & Memory via email or you can book an appointment to discuss over Zoom.
Certified organizations in need of support are also encouraged to attend Sustaining Your Music & Memory Program, a monthly live support webinar designed to offer certified organizations additional support and resources to help sustain their Music & Memory programs. Running about one hour, the webinar covers effective implementation, new therapeutic benefits of favorite music, available resources, quick start tips, hygiene recommendations and music discovery in the age of social distancing. Sessions include Q&A. Click here to register for Sustaining Your Music & Memory Program.

Grant Funding Opportunities for Music & Memory Programs
Music & Memory programs can leverage various grant funding opportunities to support the implementation and expansion of personalized music therapy interventions for individuals in need. These grants offer financial support to healthcare organizations, skilled nursing facilities, and community programs, enabling them to provide impactful and sustainable music-based therapies.
Civil Money Penalty (CMP) Reinvestment Program
Skilled nursing facilities across the U.S. can apply for CMP funds, which are allocated specifically to enhance resident care. These funds can be used to implement Music & Memory programs by covering the costs of necessary music equipment, tablets, and staff training. By integrating personalized music programs, facilities can improve the quality of life for their residents, particularly those living with dementia, while also promoting sustainable care practices. Each state manages its own CMP funding, and facilities are encouraged to review state-specific application guidelines.
CTA Foundation Grants
The CTA Foundation, an arm of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), offers grants aimed at improving the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities through innovative use of technology. Music & Memory programs that focus on enhancing cognitive and emotional well-being through personalized music therapy are prime candidates for this funding. CTA Foundation grants support projects that empower individuals to live independently, foster personal connections, and improve overall quality of life through technology. To learn more about these grants and how to apply, visit the CTA Foundation’s website.
