How much does the training cost?
Training costs are based on the number of residents/clients served by your organization (for-profit or non-profit):
- 51 or more: $1,250
- 36-50: $800
- 21-35: $650
- 9-20: $600
- 8 or fewer: $500
For organizations with multiple sites, serving 51 or more residents/clients, each additional site is $800.
A $200 renewal fee is due annually on the anniversary on each organization’s certification. This fee ensures continued access to a broad array of benefits that are only available to MUSIC & MEMORY℠ Certified Organizations. Renewal invoices are sent 60 days prior to payment due date, and are based on date of certification.
After certification, qualifying organizations will receive a Music & Memory Starter Kit consisting of 10 iPods (5 new iPod Shuffles and 5 gently used iPods), 10 headphones, 10 AC adapters and one iTunes gift card ($50 U.S. only).
Who is eligible for a starter kit?
Starter kits are offered to non-profit sites within the United States that pay $800 or more for training and have NOT received start-up support from government or other funding sources.
*Organizations located outside the United States are not eligible to receive Starter Kits.
* Individual proprietary (for-profit) facilities are not eligible for a Non-Profit Starter Kit. For-profit sites must supply at least 10 iPods to initiate training.
